Romuald Niziolek, 81

Romuald Lucian Niziolek, 81, of Arlington, NE, passed away on February 17, 2017, at his home. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, February 25, at 10 am at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair.

Romuald was born on July 27th, 1935, in Blizyn, Poland. He immigrated to the United States in 1982. His wife, Maria, and their four children joined him four years later in 1986. The family made their home in Blair for many years.

Romuald was employed at Dana College for fourteen years. He eventually moved to Arlington, where he enjoyed gardening and crafts in his retirement.

He is survived by his former wife, Maria Niziolek of Fairfax, VA, and their four children: Anna Weyer of Omaha, NE, Chris Niziolek of Las Vegas, NV, Marta (Roderick) Anderson of Fairfax, VA, Magdalena (Garrett) Flynn of Blair, NE; special friend, Rene Knievel of Arlington, NE, and their daughter, Alaina (Andrew) Albright of Minot, ND; grandchildren: Kaya, Joey, and Elisa Weyer of Omaha, NE, Xavier, Zelie, Felicity, Rigby, Zebinus, Kilian, and Philomena Anderson of Fairfax,VA, Jacinta, Kieran, Ronan, and Amaya Flynn of Blair, NE.
