Myra L. Jensen, 72

Myra L. Jensen, 72 of Blair passed away March 12, 2017, at her home in Blair. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Blair. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a Vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Campbell Aman Funeral Home.

Myra Jensen was born on July 23, 1944, in Sioux City, Iowa, the daughter of Lyle "Tuffy" and Charlotte (Sharp) Ebel. She was raised and attended school in South Sioux City. In 1965, she moved to Blair and made the community her permanent home. On November 19, 1971, Myra was united in marriage to Robert "Red" Jensen in Blair. In 1974, she began working for the Blair Community Schools as a school bus driver. She was employed with the schools until her retirement, touching the lives of children for over 33 years. Myra was a friend to everyone in Blair and never met a stranger.

Myra is survived by her husband, Robert L. Jensen; children: Jill (Matt) Graber of Omaha and Curt (Jerri) Pederson of Blair; grandchildren: Rachel (Keith) Spader, Brittany Clark, Ryan (Anne) Herman, Katelyn Pederson, Nick Graber; great-grandchildren: Keller Herman, Harper Spader, Kinsly Herman, McKenzie Forrest; sister, Cheri Wilde; and sister-in-law, Jane Jensen.

She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Amy Herman; and brothers-in-law, Gene Jensen and Dennis Wilde.
