Andrew Hoier, who lives over in Dexterville, was stricken with apoplexy on Tuesday of last week while pumping water for the cow, and death resulted before a physician arrived. The funeral was held at the Danish church on Thursday afternoon.

Andrew Hoier, an old and respected resident of this city, died of apoplexy at his home in Dexter's addition last Tuesday afternoon. He was out at the well pumping water for the cows and fell over. His wife with the assistance of the neighbors got him in the house, and a doctor was called, but before the doctor arrived life was extinct. The funeral was held Thursday from the Danish church and the body laid to rest in the Blair cemetery.
