Services for Nick Hoier, 40 of Herman who died October 13, 1995 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair were Monday, October 16 at Country Bible Church in Blair. Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Elkhorn.

Nick Hoier was born May 24, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska to L.M. "Mel" and Marjorie Thomsen Hoier. He graduated from Arlington High School in 1973.

He married Shelly Bencil April 11, 1992.

He was engaged in farming in the Herman area at the time of his death.

He is survived by his wife, Shelly; two daughters, Sherri and Dakota; his parents, Mel and Marjorie Hoier; a brother and sister-law, Jeff and Marjorie Hoier, all of Herman and his grandmother, Nellie Hoier of Blair.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
