Mrs. Ira Fulton died at her home in this city, at 12:25 Sunday morning of arteriosclerosis, having been bedfast only since last Thursday, though she had been failing for some time. All the children but William, the oldest son, were present when the end came. The funeral was held at the house at 1 o’clock yesterday, Rev. J. S. Rouse, of College View, officiating. Mrs. Fulton had been a member of the Adventist Church since the age of 13 and it was her request that Rev. Rouse have charge of her funeral service. Ellen Myers was born in Joe Davis County, Iowa, Oct 5th, 1846, and was therefore past 72 years of age. She was married there to Ira Fulton April 20th, 1864, coming to this state shortly thereafter. They lived at Decatur for a time, then moved here and late to Kansas, moving back here in 1896. Mr. Fulton died in March, 1916. She was the mother of seven children, two of whom died in infancy.

Those surviving her are William, of Niotaze, Kansas, D. Hay, of Havelock, Arthur, of Silver Creek, Lillian, of Norfolk, and James of Ft. Dodge, Iowa.

Note: her maiden name from her husband (Ira)’s obituary
