SERVICES TO BE ON WEDNESDAY FOR MARTHA HOKAMP

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 18, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church for Martha Hokamp, 91, who died Saturday, June 14, 1980 at Arbor Manor in Fremont. Rev. Robert Backhus will conduct the 10:30 a.m. services. Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Reckmeyers.

Martha Hokamp was born Ocotber 23, 1888, to George and Anna (Hilgenkamp) Knecht. She was married to August H. Hokamp. She belonged to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, August; two brothers, Henry Knecht and Otto Knecht; and one sister, Esther.

She is survived by three sons, Albert Hokamp, Gilbert Hokamp, and Martin Hokamp; three daughters, Mrs. Walter (Laura) Geisselmann, Mrs. Mata Breithaupt, and Mrs. Elmer (Norma) Katt; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Echtenkamp, Mrs. Anne Greunke, Mrs. Max (Elsa) Greunke, and Mrs. E. Edwin (Louise) Hilgenkamp; and two brothers, Paul Knecht and Walter Knecht, both of Arlington. Fifteen grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren also survive her. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements for the services.

Martha P. Hokamp was born October 23, 1888 on a farm near Arlington, Nebr. She was the daughter of George J. and Ann (Hilgenkamp) Knecht. She was Baptised and Confirmed into the Lutheran Faith at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Arlington. She was United in Holy Matrimony with August H. Hokamp on February 23, 1911 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church. August preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1971.

Martha passed from this life Saturday June 14, 1980 at Arbor Manor Nursing Home in Fremont. She had attained the age of 91 years, 7 months and 11 days. She is survived by 3 sons, Gilbert, Albert and Martin; 3 daughters, Mrs. Walter (Lora) Gieselmann, Mrs. Meta Breithaupt and Mrs. Elmer (Norma) Katt; 2 brothers, Paul and Walter Knecht; 4 sisters, Mrs. Mary Echtenkamp, Mrs. Anna Greunke, Mrs. Max (Elsa) Greunke and Mrs Edwin (Louise) Hilgenkamp, 15 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Also preceding her in death were her parents, 1 daughter Esther Gieselmann and 2 brothers, Henry and Otto Knecht.

Follwing the Graveside Services a lunch will be served in the Parish Hall for the family , relatives and close friends.
