Delores A. Holder, 73, of Fort Calhoun, died Monday, Oct. 13, 2008, in Blair.

Funeral services were Thursday, Oct. 16, at the Dorr & Clark Funeral Home in Falls City. Interment was in the Verdon Cemetery.

Delores A. German was born April 11, 1935, at Verdon to Frank B. and Lucille A. (Johnson) German. She was raised in the Verdon area and graduated from Verdon High School in 1952.

On April 30, 1953, she married Robert W. Holder in Verdon. After their marriage, the couple established their home in Fort Calhoun.

Mrs. Holder was a member of the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Brent and Paula Holder, and David and Denise Holder, both of Omaha, and J.R. Holder of Lincoln; daughter, Christie Holder of York; four grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Ralph and Susie German of Des Moines, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert, in May of 1980; brother, Russell German; sister, Dorothy Bentley. Memorials are suggested to the Fort Calhoun Presbyterian Church.

HOLDER-Delores A., age 73, of Ft. Calhoun, NE, passed away October 13, 2008, at Blair, NE. She was born April 11, 1935, at Verdon, NE to the late Frank B. and Lucille A. (Johnson) German. On April 30, 1953, she married Robert W. Holder at Verdon. He passed away May 25, 1980. Delores was raised in the Verdon area and graduated from Verdon High School in 1952. The married couple established their home in Ft. Calhoun, and she continued to live there after his death. She was member of the Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her sons, Brent and his wife Paula of Omaha, NE, David and his wife Denise of Omaha, J.R. of Lincoln, NE; daughter, Christie Holder of York, NE; brother, Ralhph German and his wife Susie of Des Moines, IA; grandchildren, Kyle, Morgan, Tanner and Emma Holder all of Omaha.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Thursday, October 16, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Gregg Miller officiating. Interment will be in Verdon Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 7-8 p.m. at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home. The family prefers memorials be made to Ft. Calhoun Presbyterian Church.
