ORA HOLETON BURIED THURSDAY

Military services were held Thursday afternoon at the Blair Cemetery for Ora Vernon Holeton, who passed away April 23, at the age of 70.

The funeral services were held at the Bendorf Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Percy Bruns, of Herman and the Rev. Eugene Smith of the Free Methodist Church of Blair officiating.

Ora Holeton was a Veteran of World War I, and Veterans who served as pallbearers at the services were J.B.Jensen, Ed Hovendick, John Skinner, Andrew Nielsen, Earl Hardy , and Henry Truhlsen.

Mr. Holeton was born April 12, 1892 in Blair, the son of John William Holeton and Cynthia McManigal and had spent most of his life in the Blair and Herman vicinities.

Surivvors are his wife, Pearl Holeton, of Herman, and one brother, David Holeton, of Oak Park, Michigan.
