Mrs. Pearl Holeton Houghton, wife of Everett Houghton, of Blair, departed this life Friday evening, June 25, aged 32 years.

Deceased was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Holeton, and was married to Mr. Houghton in 1907. She was the mother of five children, the first dying in early infancy; there are three little girls, aged six, four and two years, and a baby boy one week old at the time of his mother’s death. The cause of Mrs. Houghton’s death was the bursting of a blood vessel in the brain, following child birth.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, at 2 P.M., from the Latter Day Saint’s Church, conducted by the pastor, Rev. Lytle. A very large cortege followed the remains to the church and cemetery, and thus attested to the esteem in which deceased was held.

Much sympathy is expressed for the motherless little children and for the other relatives.
