Major Donald Ray Tripp, Sr., 94

Major Donald Ray Tripp, Sr., age 94, the son of Ohter and Susie (McDonald) Tripp, was born September 17, 1922, in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away April 26, 2017, at his home near Fort Calhoun.

Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Betty R. Tripp, on April 5, 2015. He is survived by children, Donald R. Tripp, Jr. (Dorothy), Patti Halford, Scott Tripp and Jon D. Tripp (Barb); grandchildren, Kimberly Borsh (Jim), Anne Kaslon, Deborah Parnigoni, Katie Wilson, April Becerra, Natasha Williams, Katie Tripp, Amanda Tripp, Hannah Tripp, Madeline Tripp; James and RaeAnne Borsh; many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Services are at 2 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Forest Lawn. Interment with Military Honors at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue or VFW Post 3421 (3434 McKinley St.).
