Services for John Bloemker to be Monday

John H. Bloemker, 83, years old died Sunday afternoon at Arbor Manor, Fremont.

He was born on March 31, 1924 at Yankton, South Dakota. Married to Esther Mauer. They lived briefly in the Hooper-Winslow area. Most of their married life, they lived and farmed near Nickerson. In 1974, they moved to Fremont. The Bloemkers are members of Immanuel Lutheran Church, located east of Winslow.

His wife, Esther, three sons, Russ of Fremont; Vernon of Brownsville, PA; and Lowell of Ida Grove, Iowa, survives him.

There are 12 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Three brothers, George and Edward both of Fremont, and Lloyd of Greeley, CO. Three sisters; Mrs. Harry (Anna) Busch, Fremont; Mrs. Emma Kuss, Hooper; and Mrs. Raymond (Clara) Lhotak, Scribner.

Visitation at Ludvigsen Funeral Home in Fremont.

Funeral services will be Wednesday January 25, 1984 at 2 p.m. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Winslow. Rev. Rodney Meske will do the services. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorials in memory of Mr. Bloemker may be given to his church.
