Rites Tuesday for Edna Blomberg

Miss Edna Blomberg died Friday, March 15, at the McBride Nursing Home, where she has been for the past several months.

Funeral services will be Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Campbell Mortuary, the Rev. George Palleson officiating with interment in the Blair Cemetery.

Miss Blomberg was born July 11, 1891. Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Blomberg. She had been confined to a wheelchair since she was 19 years of age, after an attack of polio. Following the death of her parents, she lived at the Andrew Svendgard home for 11 years. Mr. Svendgard is her brother-in-law. Then for about five years she maintained an apartment by herself before going to the McBride Home.

Survivors are sisters, Mrs. Leslie Haller (Florence) of Van Nuys, California, and Mrs. Stewart Brown (Freda) of Long Beach; two brothers, Lloyd Blomberg of Hayward, California and Edwin Blomberg of Sacramento, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be: Walter Koening, Clair Rogers, Earl French, Charles French, William Jensen and Roland Smith.
