Mrs. Blome Died at age 93

Services for Mrs. Hannah Blome, 93, of Arlington and formerly of Beemer, were Friday at St. John’s Lutheran Church at Beemer. The Rev. Dennis Frey officiated.

Mrs. Blome died Tuesday morning at a Blair retirement home.

She was born Jan. 31, 1883 at Oakland and resided at Beemer area until moving to Arlington in 1937. The former Hannah Moseman, she married William C. Blome, Sept. 12, 1901, at Oakland. He died Jan. 19, 1936. Mrs. Blome moved to a Blair retirement home in 1969. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church at Beemer.

Survivors include a son, Richard, Pleasant Hill, California; daughters, Mrs. Irene Kroeger, Beemer, Mrs. Herbert Stork, Arlington; brothers August Moseman, Oakland, George Moseman, Oakland, Ernest Moseman, Wausa, William Moseman, Hooper; sisters, Mrs. Pauline Magnuson, Hooper, Mrs. Mary Moore, Alda; 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

Pallbearers were Clarence Flagel, Darrell Ullman, Floyd Koreger, Elmer Heider and Timothy Wooten.

Mrs. Arlene Flago was the organist.

Reckmeyer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Burial was at Beemer Cemetery.
