Ronald Lee Hollingshead, 57, of Fort Calhohn, died Nov. 13, 2000, in Tekamah.

Funeral services were held Nov. 16, 2000, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment was at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Ronald L. Hollingshead was born Aug. 9, 1943, in Blair. He was a member of VFW Post 9661, Carter lake, Iowa; the Blair Eagles Club; and the Midwest 8 Ball Association.

Mr. Hollingshead's main vocation was construction in commercial and residential areas. His hobbies were playing pool, fishing, helping people, and his good friends. He will be remembered for "just being Ron."

He is survived by his son, Travis, of Gibbon; daughter, Heather Hollingshead and mother, Ruth Hollingshead, both of Fort Calhoun; brothers and sisters-in-law, Robert and Cindy Hollingshead of Blair, Glen and Margie Hollingshead of Omaha; sister, Mary Siemer of Omaha; a step-daughter, Eva Ozmun of Tekamah, ex-wife Trish Hollingshead of Tekamah, and one grandson.

Memorials are suggested to the family.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
