Ruth M. Hollingshead, 77, of Fort Calhoun, died Tuesday, Dec. 16, 2003, in Omaha.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 19, at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Ruth Marie Hollingshead was born Feb. 12, 1926, in Fort Calhoun.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Cindy Hollingshead of Blair, Glen and Marg Hollingshead of Omaha; daughter, Mary Siemer of Omaha; brother, Elmer Schmidt of Blair; sisters, Pat Gomez and Norma Phalen of Omaha, and Rosie Moore of Tekamah; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Holly" Hollingshead, and a son, Ron Hollingshead.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
