Funeral services were Saturday, November 17, at Volzke Mortuary in Seward for Walter G. Bluhm, 95, who died at Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair November 13, 1990. Rev. Ken Moore officiated. Burial was in the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Nebraska.

Walter G. Bluhm was born July 3, 1895, near Seward, Nebraska to Herman and Catherine Imig Bluhm. He married Alwina Ladwig March 14, 1918 in Seward.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Alwina, who died in 1980.

He is survived by two daughters, Aloha (Mrs. Dwayne) Moore of Walker, Minnesota; and Shirley (Mrs. Alton) Miles of Papillion, Nebraska; one brother Paul Bluhm of Seward; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were David Moore, Terry Moore, Duane Owens, Richard Miles, Greg Miles, and John Eno.
