Funeral services for Edith M. Blum, age 88 of rural Herman who died at the Tekamah Senior Citizens Home August 13, 1991 will be held 10 a.m. Friday, August 16 at the United Methodist Church in Tekamah. Burial will be in the Telbasta Cemetery.

Edith M. Gustafson was born June 5, 1903 at Oakland, Nebraska to A. Emil and Selma Warneke Gustafson. At the age of seven, she and her family moved to Washington County (Telbasta Community), where she attended school at Mt. Olive and Rock School in Burt County, and later Telbasta School.

She married Edward G. Blum May 24, 1933. They farmed in the New England area, where she lived on the farm until moving to the Tekamah Senior Citizens Home in July 1991.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Edward in 1972, five sisters and one brother.

She is survived by her children, Vivian and Walter Blum of Herman, one niece and two nephews.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
