Edward G. Blum Died at his Home Saturday, April 22

Edward G. Blum passed away Saturday, April 22nd, at his home near Herman, after a lingering illness.

Mr. Blum was born July 6, 1900 and was the son of Mathias and Wilhelmina Blum. He had lived on the farm where he was born all his life.

He was married to Miss Edith Gustafson of Arlington, Nebraska on May 24, 1933. Mr. Blum was a member of the United Methodist Church of Telbasta, Nebraska and funeral services were held there Tuesday. The Rev. G.F. Jansson officiated at the service.

Survivors are his wife, Edith, daughter Vivian, and son Walter, both at home.

Preceding him in death were his parents, 2 sisters, and 2 brothers.

Burial was in the Telbasta Cemetery under the direction of the Warne Funeral Home of Hooper.

Pallbearers were Lester Curley, Robert Gustafson, Donald Fleming, Harlan Kruger, Norman Kruger and Richard Mattson.
