Elizabeth J. Welsh, 80

Elizabeth J. Welsh, 80, of Fort Calhoun, NE, passed away on May 8, 2017. She was born May 6, 1937, in Creston, IA.

Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Welsh; her brother, Jim Jobe; and sister, Judy Pottorff.

She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Lewis, Alvin, TX; son, LeGrande “Tam” Miller, Thedford, NE, son Shane (Shelly) Welsh and step-son Mick (Megan) Pierce, both of Papillion, NE; brother, Jerry (Mary Lynn) Jobe, Darien, IL; sister, Ginger Lynch, Columbia, MO; special cousin, Connie Mertz, Omaha, NE; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday, May 15 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home in Fort Calhoun.

Her Memorial Service will be Tuesday, May 16 at 10 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 11120 Calhoun Road, Ponca Hills, Omaha, NE.

Interment will be in the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to St. John’s Lutheran Church or the Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue.
