Jaryl R. French, 75

Jaryl R. French, age 75, of Arlington, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Fremont Health.

Jaryl was born June 3, 1941, to Clarence and Maureen French in Fremont, Nebraska. He grew up and attended Arlington High School, graduating in 1959. He worked as a Landscape designer and sales manager for Marshall Nurseries as well as other various landscaping companies in the area. Jerry married Marlene K. Heller on March 23, 1962, at the Arlington Congregational Church. To this union four children were born: Charyl, Ed, Tracy and Kirk.

Jerry enjoyed camping, fishing, working in the yard, cooking and spending time with his family.

He served as the President for the Nebraska Nursery Men's Association, as well as a police magistrate for the City of Arlington, he was also a member of the Arlington Volunteer Fire Dept. and the Arlington Community Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents and son, Ed French.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene; children, Charyl (Gary) Chappelear of Arlington, Tracy Irwin of Table Rock, NE, Kirk (Deirdra) French of Hooper; grandchildren, Justin Wulf, Jessica Wulf, Avory French, Michael Coburn, Ashley Coburn, Amanda Coburn, Jaryl R. French, Evan French, Eric French; great-grandchild, Jolene Wulf; siblings, Anita (Joe) Pelicek, Gayle (Les) Otteman, Sandy Weiser, Bob (Dottie) French, Karen (Jack) Myers; as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
