William Bennett, 53

Billy was born August 27, 1963, the son of the Late Vern and Marge Bennett of Blair. He graduated from Blair High School in 1982. He was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Stephanie (Steve) Posten of Sault Ste. Marie, MI, and a special friend he called his aunt, Pam Mathiesen of Elkhorn, NE.

Billy fought kidney disease for years until he lost his battle Easter Sunday at the Lutheran Home in Omaha, NE.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 6th at 10:30 a.m. at the Blair Cemetery. Celebration of Life to follow at the VFW, 393 River Road, Blair.
