Frye, Martin K. May 11, 1963 - May 17, 2017 Born in Fremont, NE; died in Omaha. Marty attended Arlington High School '81 and Midland Lutheran College '88, and married Brenda Michaud on May 31, 1986. Marty was the Band Director at Laurel Concord, 1988-1992; North Bend, 1992-2003; and Ralston, 2003-2017. He led the North Bend Community Band for eleven years. Over the last 30 years, his bands have included: Vital Signs, Charmed and Dangerous, British Invasion Band, Shifting Sands, and Dalton and Company; he was currently playing with Live Wire and Avaricious. Preceded in death by parents, Eugene and Janet (Potter) Frye; sister, Wanita Frye; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosalie and Bill Michaud; sister-in-law, Sondra Jackson. Survived by wife, Brenda (Michaud) Frye; daughter, Delanie Frye; son, Colin Frye; brothers, Curt Frye (Dianne) and Lee Frye (Barb); sisters-in-law, Nancy McCabe and Susan Perry (Kelley); brother-in-law, Kim Jackson; several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 21st from 4pm to 7pm at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W. Center Rd. FUNERAL Monday, May 22nd, 10am at Hope Presbyterian Church, 5220 S. 159th Ave. Interment, Fremont Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the Martin K. Frye Music Scholarship Fund.
