Ellen (Benjamin) Hotaling
Died on 4/22/1916

Report came to the old-time friends of Mr. and Mrs. “Mose” Hotaling that Mrs. Hotaling had died at the home of a daughter in South Dakota. Mose Hotaling, who died years ago at his home on the farm near the Douglas County line, was one of the most widely known men in the county and had many friends. They were early pioneers in that section. Mrs. Joe Wranch, another old settler in that neighborhood, now living at Benson, was a sister to Mrs. Hotaling and the body was brought to her home where the funeral service was held, the remains being buried by the side of her husband in an Omaha Cemetery.
