Enjoyed Raising and Trail Riding Arabian Horses

Mary Schreurs, 92, of Lincoln, died Monday, May 16, 2011, in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, at Havelock Methodist Church, 4140 N. 60th Street, in Lincoln. Interment will be in Lincoln Memorial Park. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 19, at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home.

Mary Weber was born March 21, 1919, in Marvel, Colo., to James and Martha (Adams) Weber.

She was a longtime member of Havelock Methodist Church. She and her husband, Robert, enjoyed raising and trail riding Arabian horses. She loved to knit and quilt and was a fabulous cook.

She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Robert and Shirley Schreurs of Blair, and James Schreurs of Lincoln; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert; daughters, Donna Almery and Linda Schreurs; and granddaughter, Amanda Schreurs.
