Phyllis Jean (Specht) McGonigle, 75

She was born on September 5, 1941, in Blair, NE, and lived in the Kennard and Arlington area and graduated from Arlington High School in 1960.

She married Alfred Bartlett on January 8, 1961, and lived in the area until the mid-1960s, when her family moved to Phoenix, Arizona, because of job opportunities. After her divorce, she later married Chet McGonigle, and after that divorce, she worked in the accounting office of Discover Credit Card.

As her health started to deteriorate, she spent the last few years in and out of hospital care and finally on May 3, 2017, she passed away.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Dorothy Misfeldt (Specht); sister, Sharon Moon; and son, Jimmy Barlett. She is survived by her sons, Paul (partner Matthew) Bartlett, Troy (Janna) Bartlett; daughter, Becky (Frank) Gallo; brothers, Gordon (Joan) Specht and Stan (Lois) Misfeldt; brother-in-law, Colin Moon; 13 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be at 10:30 a.m. on June 7 at the Kennard Methodist Church, with interment of aches in the Kennard Cemetery.

Note: Phyllis is buried in Blk 8 Lot 16 Sp 4 in the Kennard Cemetery
