Passed away at Nebraska Medicine on April 1, 2016. She was born in Omaha on September 2, 1949, to Donald and Betty (Maloney) Gliem. Julie is survived by her children, Lynne Corum and husband Kelly, and Craig Thomas and wife Lori; mother, Betty Appleby; brother, Rick Gliem; sister, Mary Sweet (Bobby); grandchildren; great grandchildren.

Visitation 6-8pm on Tuesday at the Hoy-Kilnosi Funeral Home. Funeral Service at 10am on Wednesday at the Funeral Home. Interment in the Garner Township Cemetery. The family will direct memorials.
