Funeral services were at 1:30 P.M. Monday at the First Lutheran church FOR LEONARD C. Hoier, 79m, who died early Thursday morning in his home, 2234 E. 19th Street in Fremont.

Hoier was born July 23, 1900 in Blair and grew up on a farm in Washington County. On July 27, 1922, he married Nellie Johnson in Fremont. they farmed south of Kennard before moving to the town of Washington where they lived for 13 years. For the last four years they lived in Fremont.

He was a sportsman, bowler and had helped with the preschool children at the Children's Corner. He was a member of the First Lutheran Church and the Fremont Eagles.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Merritt (Dorothy) Rosenbaum, Omaha; a son, Melvin, Ken- ..........(The remainder of the article was not saved.)
