VIOLA HOMES DIED SUNDAY OF HEART ATTACK

Mrs. Wendell Homes, for a number of years a Secretary in the office of the Clerk of the District Court at Blair, died at her home Sunday, the victim of a heart attack. She had been in failing health for a number of months. The Blair Rescue Squad was called to her home at 2035 Grant Street, but they were unable to be effective in saving her.

Mrs. Homes is survived by her husband, Wendell, who is a postal clerk at the Blair post office. A son, Randy, and a daughter Cheryl, also survive. A brother, Clifford Christ, lives at St. Louis, Mo.

Funeral services were held Wednesday morning, August 27th at the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Albers conducted the service. Burial, under the direction of the Campbell Mortuary, was made in the Blair Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Lloyd Wright, Jr., Lloyd Warren, LeRoy Larsen, Chester Larsen, Lester Goodwin and Lloyd Petersen.
