Services for Edna Harmon Hovendick, 89 of Blair, who died at Good Shepherd Home July 25, 1995, were Saturday, July 29 at the Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with burial in the Blair Cemetery.

Edna Marie Hovendick was born December 23, 1905 in Omaha, Nebraska to Charles and Lillian Johnston Harmon.

She was manager of the food service at St. Pius X and worked in the food service at Benson High School. She was involved with many volunteer organizations, including Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts and Camp Fire Girls. She was also active at St. Pius X.

She married Raymond E. Hovendick, Sr., in Omaha June 14, 1927.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Raymond; two brothers and one sister.

She is survived by two daughter and sons-in-law, Beverley and Tom Tisdell, Orlando, Florida and Darlene and John Jensen, Sr., Omaha; one son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Marcie Hovendick, Jr., Omaha; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
