Former Blair Resident

Former Blair resident Warren Charles Jenkins, M.D., 85, of Evanston, Ill., died May 24, 2011. A memorial service was held Tuesday, May 31 at Walker Chapel at the First Presbyterian Church of Evanston. A private interment followed.

Born in Tilden, and raised in Blair, Dr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Joan (Prizer) Jenkins; children and spouses, Jill Hanto, Claire Jenkins, Sarah and Andy Byron, Julia and Dale Lauwagie, and Alison and Steve Bristol; 17 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
