Member of Dana Board of Regents Dies in Beatrice

Pastor Otto Fangmeyer, age 58, died at the hospital in Beatrice, Monday morning April 28th. He was a member of the Board of Regents of Dana College for many years and active in the American Lutheran Church.

Dr. Clifford Madsen, president of Dana College, and Dr. Ervin G. Fritschel and Pastor D.A. Metzger officiated at the funeral services, Thursday (today) at 2:30 at the St. John Lutheran Church in Beatrice. The Fox-De Buhr Funeral Home was in charge. Burial was in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. A memorial has been established.

Survivors besides his wife, Carmelita, are a son, Rex with the U.S. Navy at Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Marshall Bruce of Woodbridge, Virginia, 2 brothers and five sisters.
