Kenneth L. Brand, 86

Kenneth L. Brand of Fremont died at Dunklau Gardens Saturday morning, May 21, 2016.

Ken was born in Fremont November 3, 1929 and was raised here graduating from Fremont High School in 1947. He was employed by Hormel Foods for 43 years before his retirement in 1992. Ken married Connie Fredrickson June 8, 1952 in Fremont.

He is survived by his wife; two daughters Teri Thiele (husband Dick) of Blair and Diane Nebbia (husband Jerry) of Leawood, Kansas. One sister Marilyn Taylor of Fresno, California and 5 brothers; Myron Brand (wife Anita) of Fontanelle, Nebraska, Duane Brand (wife Elaine) and Darold Brand (wife Kathy) of Fremont, Steve Brand (wife Paula) of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Randy Brand (wife Peggy) of Fremont. Four grandchildren Jennifer (Robert) Colwell, Ashley, Sara, and Tanner Nebbia, two great-grandchildren, Lexie and Lauryn Colwell and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Memorial Services will be Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Dugan Funeral Chapel. Chaplain Scott Jensen officiating. There will be no visitation. A memorial has been established to the Dodge County Humane Society. Interment of the Cremated Remains will be in Ridge Cemetery. Condolences may be left at www.duganchapel.com.
