Jane G. Hoy, 81, died Sunday, Aug. 24, 1997 at her Arlington home.

There were no services because the body was cremated.

Hoy was born July 12, 1916 at Baltimore, Md., to Charles and Gerturde (Conard) Klein. she grew up at Baltimore and graduated from high school there. She attended IBM School and worked for the U.S. government in Hawaii after World War II. On March 17, 1949, she married Max Hoy in Oahu, Hawaii. She lived in New York, NY from 1949-1950. She then lived in San Diego, Calif.; Ottumwa, Iowa; Ankeny, Iowa and moved to Arlington in 1995. She was an antique dealer.

Survivors are a son and daughter-in-law, Derrel and Becky Hoy of Colorado; a daughter and son-in-law, Dawn and Phil Tinsley of Arlington; a sister, Frances Garrity of Oceanside, Calif.; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Hoy and Max Hoy.

Reckmeyer-Moser Funeral Home in Arlington was in charge.
