Services for Clifford G. Hubbell, 90, of Omaha who died May 6, 1991 at Immanuel Medical Center are 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 9 at Roeder Mortuary, 50th and Ames Ave., Omaha. Rev. Sid Raymond of Florence Presbyterian Church is officiating.

Clifford George Hubbell was born September 9, 1900 to Charles and Elizabeth Barbour Hubbell at Florence, Nebraska. He attended Florence School and graduated in 1915.

He worked on his father's truck farm for several years. He also worked at the Simpson Mule Farm on North 52nd Street.

He served as director of the school board of Fairview School Distirct No. 32 in rural Douglas County over 25 years. He was a member of Florence Presbyterian Church since 1932.

He married Marie Henninger of Benson July 21, 1923. They had two children, Arthur and Dorothy.

His wife preceded him in death January 4, 1971. He was also preceded in death by his parents, four sisters, Grace Larson, Carrie Alback, Goldie Adam and Mary Weekes and one great-grandson, John Jenkins, Jr.

He is survived by his son, Arthur Hubbell and his wife, Mary of Omaha; his daughter, Dorothy Jenkins and her husband, David of Arlington; 15 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson. Several nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends also survive him.

Memorials may be sent to the Florence Presbyterian Church or the giver's favorite charity.

Roeder Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
