Judy Ann Rydberg, 67

Judy Ann Rydberg, 67, of Fort Calhoun, passed peacefully in her home on the evening of July 6, 2017, surrounded by her family. There will be a private celebration of life with family.

Judy Ann Rydberg was born September 17, 1949, to Ed & Helen Rydberg. She was the oldest of six siblings. Judy enjoyed her family. She loved cooking, decorating, sewing and crocheting. Judy spent many hours volunteering, most significantly as the VFW Auxiliary. She was the President of Post 1253 (Blair) and District 7. While living in Riverton, Iowa, Judy served as a councilwoman on the city council.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Helen Rydberg.

She is survived by her siblings: Sherry Rydberg, Terry Rydberg, Rick Rydberg, Jill (Mike) Cimino and Lisa (Kurt) Hodges; children: Ed (Pauline) Lautrup, Brian (Teresa) Lautrup, Donnette (Mitch) Kephart, Jerid (Brandi) Lautrup, and Jessie Lautrup. Judy was blessed with 11 grandchildren.
