Calvin Claus Ohrt, 71

Calvin Claus Ohrt, 71, passed away on July 6 in Omaha. He was born March 2, 1946, in Omaha.

Calvin was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Karleen Ohrt; nieces; Angela Scott and Rhonda Mayo; and Uncle Albert "Shorty" (Betty) Ohrt.

He is survived by his wife, Sherry Dayle Ohrt, and daughter, Sabra Ohrt, both of Omaha; son, Monte (Shanna) Ohrt of Lincoln; sister, Cheryl (Rodney) Mayo of Omaha; grandchildren: Jamie, Elizabeth and Ethan Ohrt; great-grandchild, Jacob Calvin Kendall; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 11 with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m., both at Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 12 at Abiding Faith Baptist Church in Fort Calhoun. Interment will be at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Fort Calhoun Fire and Rescue.
