Christine Brant, mother of Cecil Brant of Blair, died Tuesday in the Douglas County Hospital in Omaha. She was 78 years old. Mrs. Brant was born in Denmark February 8, 1886 and came to this country as a young girl. She was married to Nel Brant who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one son, Cecil of Blair and by a stepdaughter, Mrs. Mabel E. Johnson of Springfield, Missouri. Two brothers live at Kimball, Nebraska and a sister at Ord, Nebraska.
Services will be held at the Campbell Mortuary Friday morning with the Rev. Gain Dunning in charge.
Burial will be made in the Minden, Nebraska cemetery.
