Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Blair. Interment will be in the Blair Cemetery.

Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 29, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

Helen Marie Aaseth was born Sept. 5, 1913, in Gayville, S.D., to Elmer A. and Martha (Olson) Aaseth.

She married William Schroder on June 18, 1933.

Mrs. Schroder was a homemaker while raising her family. Later in life, she worked as a health aide and caregiver. Her favorite pastimes were playing cards and bingo, watching basketball and visiting. She was a devoted grandmother and will be forever remembered for her keen wit and sense of humor.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Blair.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, John and Sally Schroder of Ft. Collins, Colo.; grandchildren, John C. Schroder, Erin McCrimmon, Emily Schroder, Kyle Schroder; great-grandchildren, Troy, Hailie, Samantha and Jessie McCrimmon; brother, Elmer Aaseth; and special friends Karen Iverson and Joan Rogert.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William, in 1966; a son, Richard; sisters, Adelaide Casbarian, Florence Linden; and brother Ralph Aaseth.
