Graveside services for William Hoerath, 98 of Fremont who died July 23, 1990 at Memorial Hospital of Dodge County's Skilled Care Center were Wednesday, July 25 at Flower Hill Cemetery in Bennington. Rev. Lawrence Sundell officiated.

William Hoerath was born March 24, 1892 in Douglas County. He farmed and lived in the Bennington, Benson and Irvington areas. He moved to Fremont many years ago. He was a carpenter until he retired.

He is survived by sons, Bill of Ames, Irvan of Fremont and Vern of St. Paul; a daughter, Peggy (Mrs. Howard Burch) of Joshua Tree, California; two brothers, Elmon of Bennington and Art of Elkhorn; two sisters, Grace Lawson of Benson and Lillian Lage of Red Oak, Iowa; seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
