FORMER BLAIR MAN DIED IN HOOPER

Services for Harold F. Hoar, 72, of Hooper, were held Tuesday at United Church of Christ Congregational of Scribner. The Rev. Arthur Hermanson will officiate.

Hoar, superintendent of the Nebraska Public Power Dist. for 30 years, died Saturday in the Fremont hospital on March 31.

He was born December 2, 1906, in Lyons. Hoar had lived in Walthill, Malmo, Blair and Scribner for 22 years, while he was with the NPPD. He retired seven years ago and moved to Hooper.

Hoar was a member of Masonic Lodge 132 in Scribner and Fremont Eagles Aerie 200.

He married the former Dorothy Nelson July 22, 1929, in Sioux City, Iowa. She survives.

Other survivors include sons, Robert of Rochester, Minn., and Donald of Finley, N.D.; sister, Mrs. Betty Brink of Modesto, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Members of the Masonic Lodge were pallbearers at the funeral.
