JIM HOGAN DEAD, AGE 69

JIM HOGAN DIES WHILE SEATED IN CAR IN BUSINESS DISTRICT

Jim Hogan, 69, Blair, died yesterday about 5 p.m. while seated in a car in front of the Washington County Hatchery in downtown Blair.

It is assumed that Mr. Hogan died of a heart attack.

He is survived by one brother, John Hogan of Omaha.

Mr. Hogan was born in Burt County, the son of John and Caroline Hogan, Dec. 10, 1884. It was reported he has been making his home recently with Albert Gilliland, farmer near Blair.

The body was taken to the Bendorf Funeral Home. No funeral arrangements have been made.

The funeral of James Hogan, 69-year-old Blairite who died while seated in a car in downtown Blair last Wednesday afternoon, was held Friday The rites were held at 2 p.m. at the Bendorf Funeral Home. The Rev. Edward C. O’Donnell of St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church officiated, and interment followed in Holy Cross cemetery.

Mr. Hogan, a lifetime Blairite, is survived by a brother, John Hogan of Omaha.
