Dorothy M. Huettner, 62, died Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at her home in Kennard.

A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11, at St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church in Blair. Interment will be in Blair's Holy Cross Cemetery.

A wake service is planned for 5 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home.

Dorothy M. Hall was born June 14, 1944, in Princeton, W.V. , to Basil and Virginia (Taylor) Hall. She attended school in West Virginia.

On Sept. 23, 1961, she married James Huettner in David City. The couple lived in numerous cities prior to moving to Kennard in 1974.

Mrs. Huettner had worked at Pamida since 1979. She enjoyed bowling and was a participant in the state bowling tournament for 23 years.

She is survived by her husband, James; daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Mike McKern of Underwood, Iowa; son and finace, James Jr. and Penny Gentry of Kennard; three grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Dennis and Berneada Hall of Cleveland, Tenn., and Kenneth Hall of Creston; several nieces , nephews, and cousins.

FUNERAL MASS 10 am Mon., St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church, Blair. Burial Holy Cross Cemetery. WAKE SERVICE 5 pm Sun. at the Funeral Home. VISITATION 9 am Sunday.
