FRED HUFF DIES AT BROWNVILLE, TEXAS

Fred Huff, well known Blair man, died late last week at Brownsville, Texas. Death was attributed to a heart attack.

Mr. Huff, who had spent the winter there, was found in his trailer at a trailer court and it was believed he had been dead several days. He had been preparing to return to Nebraska for the summer.

Huff, a retired heavy equipment operator, had been in the habit of spending the winters in the south. This year, Mrs. Huff remained in Blair and was at her home at 1558 Colfax Street when notified of her husband's death.

Mr. Huff is survived by his wife and by three step children. William Powell, of San Francisco arrived by plane within a few hours to be with his mother. Another son, Tom Powell, resides in Washington, D.C and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Oldendorf, of Chicago, was in Florida at the time of Mr. Huff's death.

The Campbell Mortuary will be in charge of burial serices which will be held at the Congregational church with the Rev. Clare Olney in charge. The date is pending at this time.
