Loving Mother and Grandmother

Norma J. Phelan, 81, of Omaha, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, in Omaha.

Graveside services were Wednesday, June 15, at the Fort Calhoun Cemetery.

Norma Jean Phelan was born Feb. 6, 1930, in Fort Calhoun.

She is survived by a son, Peter Fitchhorn of Lucedale, Miss.; daughters, Johanna Williams, Theresa Smith, Bonnie Phelan, and Bobbi Ortiz, all of Omaha, and Nancy Phelan and Patty Donaldson of Council Bluffs, Iowa; sister, Rosie, of Tekamah; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marsha Pollgreen.

Sievers-Sprick Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
