Dean L. Bart, 81

Dean L. Bart, age 81, of Arlington, died Saturday July 29, at Dunklau Gardens in Fremont. Dean was born at Olean, Neb., and grew up in the Olean and Dodge areas until 1964, when he moved to Fremont.

He married Phyllis (Hansen) Aug. 8, 1964, in Elkhorn. The couple moved to Arlington in 1965. Dean worked at Valmont in Valley as a Machinist.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Bart, Arlington; daughters, Melissa (Kurt) Balhorn, Omaha, and Sheila Bart, Overland Park, Kansas; brothers, James Bart, Dodge; and granddaughter, Amanda Balhorn, Omaha.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 sisters: Roma Kampschneider, Emogene Burbach, Mary Ann McGuire and Grace Meister; 5 brothers: Donald, Harlan, Harold, Maynard and twin, Duane Bart.

Memorial Mass was at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Aug 2 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Fremont. Memorial Burial was at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Calvary Cemetery, Fremont. Memorials are suggested for St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Fremont. Online condolences may be left at www.mosermemorialchapel.com.
