Loraine Eva Taylor, age 97 died September 18, at Pathfinder Assisted Care Facility in Fremont. She was surrounded by her loving family and caring staff. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, September 20th at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Orum. There will be a private graveside service immediately following at the Lincoln Cemetery in Orum. Visitation will be held Tuesday at Campbell Aman Funeral Home in Blair from 6 to 8 p.m.

Loraine was born March 27, 1920 to Nels and Cora Lauritsen of Kennard. Loraine graduated Kennard High school and completed business school. She worked at Union Pacific Railroad for several years. She married Russell M. Taylor and raised three children. Most of her years were spent being a farmer's wife, mother and church member of Immanuel Lutheran in Orum. Loraine enjoyed sewing and crafts all her life.

Loraine leaves behind children: Rodney (Carol) Taylor of Omaha, Jerry (Kathy) Taylor of Blair, Nancy (Bryan) Boorujy of Denver, Colo; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Loraine Eva Taylor, 97, of Fremont died Monday, Sept. 18, 2017 at Pathfinder Assisted Care Facility in Fremont. She was surrounded by her loving family and caring staff.

Loraine was born March 27, 1920 to Nels and Cora Lauritsen of Kennard. Lorraine graduated Kennard High School and completed business school. She worked at Union Pacific Railroad for several years.
