Services were Monday, January 3 at St. James' Episcopal Church in Fremont for Berneice L. Hula, 79 of Fremont who died December 30, 1993 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha. Rev. Ronald Wiley officiated. Burial was at Memorial Cemetery in Fremont.

Berneice Campbell was born February 17, 1914 in rural Arlington and grew up east of Fremont.

She married Walter Hula March 2, 1932 in Fremont. They farmed east of Fremont.

She moved into Fremont in 1962.

She was a member of St. James' Episcopal Church and its guild and was a member of Maple Grove Get Together Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband, January 7, 1981; a son; two brothers and a sister.

She is survived by two sons, Robert of Clarksville, Arkansas and Ray of Fremont; two daughters, Marilyn Walling and Beverly Martinez, both of Fremont; a sister, Marie Toft of Blair; 13 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

A memorial has been established to the church.

Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont was in charge of arrangements.
