Mary Marjorie “Marge” Bobbitt, 87

Mary Marjorie “Marge” Bobbitt, 87, of Omaha, died Friday, December 7, 2001, at Brookstone Nursing Home in Omaha.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 10, at First Baptist Church in Omaha, with the Rev. Aaron Scifort officiating. Interment was at the Blair Cemetery.

Mary Marjorie Bobbitt was born July 17, 1914, in Omaha to Brutis and Mary (Kenny) Smith. She was self-employed at Bobbitt’s Mouding and Framing.

She is survived by her children, Carol Sue Bristow of Joplin, Missouri, James Frederick Bobbitt of Silver Spring, Maryland, Mary Bobbitt-Cooke of Hillsborough, North Carolina, and Elizabeth Ann Kumru of Omaha, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, a brother, Fred Smith of Elmhurst, Illinois, and sister Aimee Mourer of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her husband James Carroll Bobbitt.

Memorials are suggested to Uta Halle Girls Village or the First Baptist Church in Omaha.

Heafey-Heafey-Hoffman-Dworak-Cutler Funeral Home in Omaha was in charge of arrangements.
