Eric B. Boe, 73

Eric B. Boe, 73, of Blair, died Friday, June 18, 2004 at Memorial Community Hospital in Blair.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 22, at First Lutheran Church in Blair, with military graveside services held at the Blair Cemetery.

Eric B. Boe was born March 11, 1931, in Blair to Hans and Elizabeth (Bonde) Boe. He was baptized and confirmed at First Methodist Church in Blair, and graduated from Blair High School.

He served in the United States Air Force f rom 1951 until 1955.

In September 1957, he married Donna Frahm at First Lutheran Church.

Mr. Boe worked at the Safeway store from 1957 until 1965, and then worked at the Miller-Rolland furniture Store. After the store closed, he repaired appliances.

He was a member of the American Legion Club, where he served as chaplain and was a past commander. He also was a past member of the Blair Jaycees. He was a great fan of Blair High School football and of the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

He is survived by his wife, Donna; daughters and sons-in-law, Jodi and Randy David of St. Louis, MO, Jackie and Larry Stuckenschmidt of Omaha; son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Pam Boe of Darnestown, Maryland, five granddaughters, two grandsons; and sister-in-law Janice Boe of South Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Hans, and three sisters, Hildegard, Cecelia and Charlotte.

Campbell-Aman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
