Services for Martha Marie Boehler, 78 of Missouri Valley, Iowa who died April 10, 1996 at Westmont Care Center in Logan, Iowa, were Wednesday, April 10 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Missouri Valley. Rev. Robert Kruempel officiated. Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Garden in Missouri Valley.

Martha Marie Boehler was born November 11, 1917 in Blair to James and Francis Christiansen Mose. She graduated from Blair High School in 1935.

She was the head cook at Missouri Valley High School for many years before retiring. She was active at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

She married Louis Boehler June 21, 1946 in Marysville, Kansas. He preceded her in death in February 1966.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents. She is survive by her daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Stanley Salter of Logan, Iowa; a son, George L. Boehler of Honolulu, Hawaii; a sister and brother-in-law, Mabel V. and John Christensen of Denver, Colorado and a grandson, Scott Salter of Logan, Iowa and a granddaughter, Dana Ellison of Missouri Valley.

Casket bearers were Jamie Ellison, Anthony Salter, Scott Salter, Robert Wichem, Richard Collier and Stephen Wright.

Carole Gorham was organist.

Hennessey-Hurley-Aman funeral Home in Missouri Valley was in charge of arrangements.
